SPONSORED BY ALPENAURA PLASTIC SURGERY
Living in Bend is incredible, but finding specialty medical care can sometimes be a real challenge.
That’s why I was so excited to connect with Dr. Jourdan Carboy of Alpenaura Plastic Surgery. Her brand new practice performs plastic surgeries of all kinds but specializes in facial plastic surgery (think facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, gender-affirming care, and even pediatric plastic surgery) and is changing the game—booking patients in weeks, not months or years!
Want to meet Dr. Carboy and check out the new Alpenaura space? She’s hosting a grand opening celebration on March 6th from 5:30–7:30 PM at 2275 NE Doctors Drive Ste #1.

🥇 Big weekends for high school swimming and wrestling
The Intermountain Conference held their regional championships for both swimming and wrestling over the weekend. In the pool, Bend High dominated and took home the championship for both the boys and girls programs. On the mats, it was the Redmond Panthers who came out on top with the Bend Lava Bears finishing second.
BUSINESS HAPPENINGS
🍻 A new beer fest is coming to town: RIP Bend Brewfest. Long live Bend Brews & Beyond. This new brewfest is coming to Drake Park for a two-day event in May and features more than just the usual lineup of hazy IPAs. There will be more than fifty Oregon breweries offering up beer, cider, non-alcoholic beer, hop water, kombucha, cold brew, and beyond. Tickets are on sale now and you can use the code BENDBUZZ to save a few bucks!
🍝 Nome Italiano restaurant closes their doors: Westside Italian and pizza eatery Nome Italiano suddenly announced they were closing their doors for good over the weekend. There is no word yet on the reason behind the closure or what is to come next for the space.
