Is an Opportunity Opening Up in Bendās $500K-$700K Market?
So far this month, buyer activity in Bend has been right on trackābut not evenly across the board. With just a few days left, the number of homes projected to go under contract between $500K and $700K is falling well short of expectations.
And hereās where it gets interesting: January saw a strong wave of new listings in this range. With inventory holding steady and demand lagging at this price point, there may be an opportunity waiting for buyers ready to make a move.
š If you want to know what I'm seeing to call out this trend, letās chat!
If thatās not youābut you still love checking out whatās hitting the marketāhere are a couple of standout homes currently for sale:

š Bend Buzz burger bash ballot breakdown
In Tuesdayās newsletter, I put out a call for your recommendations for the best burger in Bend, and hoo boy, you all did not disappoint. So far (the responses are still trickling in), Iāve received 110 recommendations that range from established favorites to hidden gems that I canāt wait to try.
The burgers will be judged using my proprietary grading system (also known as is this burger delicious or not), and there will be separate awards for the best smash burger, best traditional burger, and community favorite. But, in the end, there will be only one winner of the best burger in Bend.
In Tuesdayās newsletter, Iāll compile the top recommendations in each category and get to tasting (if anyone wants to join me for a stop along this burger-tasting quest, feel free to reach out - the more, the merrier!)
And if you havenāt submitted your entry for the best burger in Bend, thereās still time!
BUSINESS HAPPENINGS
š« Kefi Fresh 5th-anniversary celebration: Kefi Fresh is celebrating their 5th anniversary this weekend with a special deal. They are rolling back their pricing to the day they opened in 2020, so swing by anytime this weekend to say congratulations, pick up some lunch, and save a few bucks in the process.
š Kenās Artisan Pizza is officially open: As of yesterday, Bend is now home to one of the most acclaimed pizza restaurants in the entire country, as Kenās Artisan Pizza officially opened its doors. Kenās is open for dinner service Thursday - Monday, and we suggest getting there early as, if their Portland location is any indication, this is going to be a popular spot.
