🏕️ Summer camp roundup
Now that registration has come and gone for the Bend Park and Rec summer camps, I’m guessing you all still have a few holes to fill in your summer camp schedule (we certainly still do!). Luckily, there are still plenty of options to choose from to keep those little ones busy while you juggle work, vacation, and lounging on the patio in peace while soaking up the summer sun.
Check out our summer camp guide for a full roundup of camps in Central Oregon. If we’re missing anything, please shoot us a note and let me know!
BUSINESS HAPPENINGS
⛷️ Turns out Mt. Bachelor won’t be sold after all: After months of rumors, talks of local efforts to buy the mountain, and debate about what possible new corporate overlords would raise prices the least, it turns out it was all for naught as POWDR Corp announced on Friday that Mt. Bachelor would not be sold. They also announced that they would begin offering a new program called Kids Ski Free, where any dependent child 12 and under can be added to an adult unlimited or Outplay regular winter season pass!
