☀ SummerFest Happening This Weekend
Chalk this up to one of those things that caught even me off guard. Turns out that SummerFest is happening this weekend instead of its normal July weekend. So if you’re looking for something to do…you’re in luck! We’ll have plenty more in Friday’s newsletter.
⛷ Work Underway on Mt. Bachelor’s Northwest Chairlift
Northwest is this year’s lucky winner for the chairlift modernization efforts at Bachelor. Over the coming months, Mt. Bachelor will be making upgrades to the lift’s power supply and the lift components, which should help improve reliability and operational efficiency during the winter season for years to come.
🚣 New Docks at Cultus and Paulina Lakes
Last year, the Bend Sustainability Fund awarded $193,000 to install new permanent docks at both Cultus and Paulina Lakes. The day has come where those docks are now in place and ready for use for the summer season. So bring your kayak, SUP, or other watercraft up to the lake and enjoy the new digs.
BUSINESS HAPPENINGS
👖 REVOLVR opens at the Old Mill: Portland Gear wasn’t the only new shop opening up at the Old Mill over the weekend. REVOLVR opened its second Bend location on Friday. You can find them in the old Francesca’s location.
