Hi, I’m Samantha.
I work with homeowners navigating short-term rentals, mid-term rentals, and ADUs who want the process to feel clear, structured, and manageable.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve overseen more than 8,000 guest reservations and currently operate properties across Central Oregon, the Oregon coast, and Denver, supported by established local teams and proven systems.
My work includes full-service STR and MTR management, as well as consulting and setup support for owners who plan to self-manage but want experienced guidance along the way. I offer structured support over 3, 6, 9, or 12 months, focusing on listing optimization, pricing strategy, turnover processes, and guest experience.
Strong rental performance comes from clear systems and steady support. You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
Ask about my new client special.
Visit www.morganelite.com or call or text 971-420-7100. I can’t wait to talk through your STR, MTR, or ADU goals.

🍕 Bend Pizza Week Kicks Off
Pizza lovers rejoice as The Source’s pizza week kicks off tomorrow and runs through Feb 25th. Participating restaurants will be offering up special slices and whole pies that can only be found during this once-a-year event.
The current list of shops includes Wildfired Pizza, Pizza Mondo, Jackson’s Corner, Abe Cappana’s, Little Pizza Paradise, 10 Barrel Brewing, Fat Tony’s Pizza, Worthy Brewing, I Heart Ceviche, Sunriver Brewing, Chasin’ Pizzas, Chonie’s Pizza, and Ken’s Artisan Pizza. I couldn’t find an article in The Source about the event (maybe it’ll be in this week’s issue), so I’d recommend checking the IG accounts for the participating shops for info on what they’ll be offering.
🪨 Bend Curling Club Looks to Build Permanent Facility
The Bend Curling Club is capitalizing on the extra eyes that their sport receives once every four years and spreading the word that they’re looking to raise funds to build a permanent curling facility in Central Oregon. The club hosts lessons at the Pavilion (I took them last year and they were a ton of fun), but because of limited ice time, these typically sell out well in advance. If you want to learn more about curling and their plans, you can join them at Good Life Brewing on Thursday, February 19, from 6 - 8 PM to watch the Olympics and meet the team.
🚐 Help the Humane Society Get Their Trailer Back
Someone wasn’t feeling the Valentine’s Day spirit over the weekend, as the Humane Society’s disaster response trailer was stolen on Saturday evening. Check out the photos and video over at Central Oregon Daily and help them get their trailer back!
⛷ Bend Local to Compete in the Freeski Halfpipe
Set those DVRs or pour yourself an extra cup of coffee as Bend local Hunter Hess will be competing tonight at 1:30 AM in the freeski halfpipe qualifying round. We’ll be hitting record on this one as that is a touch past my normal bedtime. If Hunter qualifies for the finals (fingers crossed), then that will be taking place at a much more manageable hour of 10:30 AM on Friday.
BUSINESS HAPPENINGS
🍻 Ale Apothecary leaving their current location: Today’s business update section will be beverage-themed, and the first bit of news to share is that Ale Apothecary will be leaving their taproom located at the Century Center on April 18th. They aren’t closing for good, but there is no word yet on where they may pop up next.
🍺 Local breweries joining forces: A few weeks ago, we shared the news that local coffee roasters Thump and Backporch were merging, and now a few local beer/cider companies are doing the same. Five local breweries (Crux, Silver Moon, Cascade Lakes, GoodLife, and Tumalo Cider) have teamed up to create the Oregon Beverage Collective. There’s a lot of info on exactly how the business is structured and the impacts to the respective breweries, so if it tickles your fancy, I’d recommend checking out the full article over at New School Beer.
For those of you who dig into the article, you may have noticed the note about the old GoodLife brewing space being turned into pickleball courts. That little tidbit is something I’ve been sitting on for a bit until I had more concrete info to share, so expect updates on that in the coming months.
🌯 Bend Breakfast Burrito Celebrates 5 Years: Bend Breakfast Burrito is celebrating 5 years in business with a week of fun starting today! They’ll have bingo cards available to pick up, free banana bread on Sunday, and plenty of prizes to give away.
