TOGETHER WITH
Good morning, Bend! Knock on wood and all that (especially now that prescribed burns have started back up), but this upcoming week of weather looks spectacular and is only continuing with what has been an amazing fall thus far.
In today’s Bend Buzz:
🍕 Pizza spot closes
🏂 Tactics shutters their downtown shop
💼 More jobs in Bend
Let’s get to it.

⛷ Bachelor pass prices are going up
Been dragging your feet on grabbing a season pass for the upcoming winter? Here’s your heads up that pass prices go up after today. (This isn’t a paid spot, just trying to save you a couple bucks if you’ll already be up on the mountain all winter.)
🍽 October dinner club announcement
September is in the books (after today), and our October dinner club is right around the corner! Last month, we had 50 folks show up to get together with six other strangers for a meal at restaurants around Bend. (We even heard through the grapevine that the after-dinner drinks turned into after-drinks karaoke that went to the unfathomably late hour (at least by Bend standards) of midnight!
Want in on the fun this month? You can sign up here →
After clicking that link, you’ll fill out a quick survey, pay the matching fee ($16), and we’ll handle the rest. This month’s dinner takes place on Wednesday, October 21st at 6 PM.
BUSINESS HAPPENINGS
🍕 Abe Capannas closing brick and mortar location: In what is starting to look more and more like a cursed location, Abe Capannas is closing their east side brick and mortar spot (this spot previously housed Bangers & Brews and Chao Lay). That location’s last day in business will be today, and the two Abe Capannas food trucks will remain open for business as usual.
🏂 Tactics closes their downtown location: Tactics, the downtown Bend skate and snow shop, has officially closed its doors effective Monday. They had announced a store closing sale over the weekend and locked up for good shortly after. No word yet on what may be moving into the space next.
