🌙 Cascade Equinox Festival Kicks Off

The Cascade Equinox Festival returns to the Deschutes Fairgrounds in Redmond for a weekend of music, camping, and unforgettable experiences. The weather is looking incredible for the weekend, so if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, then you’d better get on it! The festival runs through Sunday, so there’s plenty of time to get your groove on.

🌧️ All evacuation zones lifted

All evacuation zones from the Bachelor complex fires west of Bend have been lifted. This means that residents can return home, and the forest is back open for recreating, although you should still keep an eye out for active work around the fire perimeter.

⚙️ Children’s Museum Pop-up Event

We wrote a few weeks ago about the proposed location for the future Bend Children’s Museum. In the meantime, the crew behind this endeavor is hosting pop-up events around town. This weekend’s event will be held at the Old Mill District and will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM - 3 PM. It is a great chance for you to see what the future Children’s Museum will offer and for your kids to get their squiggles out with some hands-on, sciency fun. Old Mill District Suite 429

🍻 Oktoberfest in Bend: There are Oktoberfest events taking place at breweries all over Central Oregon on Saturday and Sunday. Rather than list them all here, I’ve included a full rundown near the bottom of the newsletter.
