While this claim may not be totally true, it is true that Bend is an excellent location to harness the sun's power and turn it into clean, renewable energy.
Our friends over at National Solar are the local experts in doing just that; the community even nominated them The Official Community Choice Awards for Best Solar Energy Company in Bend!
On top of that, National Solar isn't just some door-to-door sales company. They will handle everything from the estimate to the engineering to the installation of your solar array and battery storage system. And from September 8 - October 31, they are offering discounted pricing for all local Deschutes County, Jefferson County, and Crook County homeowners.

One of the best music weekends of the year kicks off in Sisters with the Sisters Folk Fest. Over the weekend, the entire town becomes a stage as musical acts play all across the city. If you have little ones, then don’t miss the kid zone on Saturday, which is free to attend and includes music and crafts.
🎭️ Enjoy the arts at Cascade Theater
Cascade Theater’s production of the play Now & Then kicked off yesterday and runs through the weekend with showings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This romantic comedy is set in the olden days of 1981 and explores the decisions we make and the costs that can go along with them.
