Those of you who are visitors to the Larkspur Community Center have most certainly noticed the construction going on with the new art station. Well, the construction of the 5,000 sq foot facility is now complete! The building features a lobby and three classrooms, complete with a kiln room, gallery area, and office space. So if you’ve been looking for a new winter hobby, perhaps some clay work is in your future.

🛒 Grocery Outlet possibly moving into old Staples space: The new tenant for the old Staples space on the north end of town may have been uncovered. Some, but not all, permits filed with the city for renovations at the space had Grocery Outlet listed. I guess we’ll see if this comes to fruition or not.

⛽ 3rd St Arco to close for two weeks: We can’t go 30 seconds these days without hearing about the high prices of gas and diesel. With that in mind, we’ve got some bad news for folks hoping to save a few bucks when filling up their tank. The Arco station on 3rd st is consistently one of the cheapest gallons of gas in town, and they will be closing for two weeks to upgrade their underground tanks and plumbing.

🚰 Bend local launches new sparkling electrolyte water company: Some of you may remember the pizza food cart at Silver Moon that was run by 19-year-old local Tanner Bowen. That business has since sold, and now Tanner has launched a new venture, a sparkling electrolyte water called SURV. If you want to check it out, you can find it at local grocery stores across town.
