The Hearts and Hands Behind Salt Aesthetics ❤️

Hi again! It’s Suzanne and Shannon, the sisters behind Salt Aesthetics. This is our last Bend Buzz ad for now (but don’t worry, we’ll be back in the spring!) Before we head out, we’d love for you to get to know us a little better.

With almost 20 years of combined healthcare experience and backgrounds in cardiac care, family medicine, and our own personal skincare journeys, we’re here to blend science, art, and a whole lot of heart into your aesthetic experience.

We’re passionate about creating a space where you feel informed, comfortable, and totally at ease. It’s a refreshingly real experience–because we’re refreshingly real.

Let’s meet for a free consultation to chat about your goals. As a Bend Buzz welcome, we’re offering wrinkle relaxers (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport) at $12.60 per unit (10% off our regular price!).

Click below to learn more about us and claim your offer—we can’t wait to meet you!

PS: Suzanne wants you to know she out-fished Shannon this chilly Crooked River day. 😂 🎣

🚧 Olney & Wall intersection closing through the spring

I’m not gonna lie; this closure is going to hurt my daily drive. The intersection at Olney and Wall St will close for construction starting Monday and stay that way through June 😭. That means that any north/south traffic on Wall or any East/West traffic on Olney/Portland will need to detour around the intersection. During the closure, the city will be making pedestrian and bicycle improvements as well as water and sewer infrastructure work.

😎 Our summer camp guide is out

A bunch of you asked if I would be putting together a summer camp guide, and although I hadn’t originally planned on it, I figured what the heck. Turns out I should have gotten started earlier as there are already a number of camps that are either sold out/waitlisted (Camp Tamarack), already open (a bunch!), or open for a limited time for entry into their lottery (High Desert Museum, Camp Fire - Tumalo Day Camp).

So far, I have 26 camps on the list, and I have another 20 or so to add once they release the final details for their camps. So don’t fret if you don’t see your favorite option listed. I’ll be updating this post throughout the spring/summer and letting you know about important signup dates as they arrive (cough BPRD on March 17 cough).

WEEKEND SNOW REPORT

Winter is finally returning to the mountains…and maybe even Bend! After a long dry spell, the slopes and trails will be getting a much-needed refresh with multiple feet of snow forecasted at Bachelor.

Bachelor Snow Forecast

Current base: 96”

  • ❄️ Friday - 18 to 26 inches

  • ❄️ Saturday - 3 to 6 inches

  • ❄️ Sunday - 6 to 12 inches

Meissner Snow Report

Current report: I finished up a ski yesterday morning, and the groom is still coming out great. With that said, this refresh of snow is very much needed to at least cover up all the crushed pinecones and needles that are sticking up everywhere.

  • ❄️ Friday - 7 to 15 inches

  • ❄️ Saturday - 1 to 2 inches

  • ❄️ Sunday - 3 to 6 inches

Wanoga Fat Bike Trail Report

The trails are still hard and fast, but that will change with the arrival of the weekend snow. Stay up to date on the latest conditions with grooming reports from COTA on their Facebook page.
