🎄Gather round the tree

Christmas tree lighting, see Santa at the parade, and holiday markets galore

TOGETHER WITH

Good morning, Bend! Here’s a little sprinkle of holiday cheer on your eggnog latte.

In today’s Bend Buzz:

  • 🎅 It’s time for the Christmas parade

  • 🎄 Downtown Bend tree lighting ceremony

  • ⌛️ Holiday events galore

The holiday season isn’t just about family, food, and festivities—it’s also one of the most overlooked times for spotting real opportunities in the housing market.

Let’s be honest: buying or selling a home probably isn’t at the top of your list right now. Shorter days, holiday gatherings, and the hustle of the season make it easy to say, “Let’s wait until after the new year.”

And if life isn’t requiring you to move? Great! Enjoy the season, host your parties, and relax.

But here’s the thing:
For those ready to make a move, this time of year holds hidden opportunities. Motivated sellers, less competition, and strategic timing can all work in your favor—you just need to know where to look.

My B.O.S.S. Report (Buyer Opportunity - Subdivision Snapshot) pinpoints the best spots for buyers right now. If you’re simply curious about what’s happening in the market, my Mid-Month Report will keep you in the know.

Got questions? Let’s chat. Call me at 541-316-8025 or email me at [email protected]. This could be the season you make your best move yet!

🎅 Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony

The holidays will be in full swing in downtown Bend this weekend. The official tree lighting ceremony takes place on Friday evening from 4 to 7 PM outside of The Commons along Brooks Alley.

That is followed up by the Christmas parade, which takes place on Saturday at noon. The parade route runs along Newport Ave before passing through downtown and along Drake Park. Come for the Santa sighting, but stay for the always-entertaining Raiders float.
