🐎 The horses gallop into town

More than 600 horses and 3,000 riders are headed to Central Oregon for the annual Oregon High Desert Classics. This two-week event showcases some of North America's best riders, jumpers, and hunters. Don’t know what hunting is within the world of horse riding? I didn’t either until about 2 hours ago, but can’t wait to see it in action!

🍷 Sip for a cause

The annual Cork and Barrel wine event kicks off this week for a wonderful cause. Join more than 1,000 of your closest wine-loving friends as you sip your way through some of the best Napa Valley wines. Proceeds from the event go to KIDS Center, an organization that serves children and families impacted by abuse.

BEND OUTDOOR GUIDE

🪐 Look to the stars

Did you know that Bend is home to a real-life observatory? Best of all, it is located within a brewery, so in between gazing up to the heavens, you can quench your thirst with a tropical hazy IPA.

Worthy Brewing, on the east side of Bend, is home to the Hopservatory which is open to the public on Thursdays from 9 - 10 PM and Fridays - Saturdays from 9 - 11 PM. Viewing of the night sky is done on a first-come, first-served basis, so show up early, grab a beer, and wait for your chance to get an up-close look at the planets above.
