Is Your HVAC System Ready for Every Season?

Your home's heating and cooling systems play a major role in year-round comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.

Just like getting your car serviced before a road trip—a little attention now can prevent big problems later and keep everything running smoothly when you need it most.

Regular maintenance helps ensure your HVAC system performs its best, preventing mid-season breakdowns, reducing energy bills, and extending equipment lifespan.

Our expert technicians perform thorough inspections, clean essential components, and optimize the performance for your heating and cooling systems—giving you peace of mind that your home is ready for whatever the weather brings.

For a short time, purchase a $99 AC tune-up, and receive a complimentary heating tune-up!

🚲️ Celebrate all things biking at the Bike Fest

The Bend Bike Fest takes over The Pavilion for a weekend of bike swaps, airbag jumping, bunny hop competitions, and plenty more bike-themed fun! If you registered your gear for the bike swap, make sure to drop it off from 1 - 6 PM on Friday. The expo and bike swap run from 9 AM - 5 PM on Saturday and 9 AM - 4 PM on Sunday.

🔥 Prescribed burns take place in West Bend

Yesterday, the Forest Service kicked off a planned prescribed burn on the west side of Bend. This 450-acre project closed a portion of the Grand Slam trail as well as some surrounding Forest Service roads. So if you were planning on heading out on the trails today or this weekend, know that there may be some detours and lingering smoke in place as crews mop up the burn area.

🎶 Caldera High choir group sings for the gold

Caldera High may be the newest school in town, but they are already racking up the accolades. This time around, it was the school’s choir group beating out 20 other West Coast schools at the prestigious Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival at the University of Idaho. As winners of the contest, the Caledera High group had the honor of opening for Grammy-winning a cappella group Take 6.

BUSINESS HAPPENINGS

⛷️ Mt. Bachelor switches to spring hours: The days are getting warmer and the snow slushier, so Mt Bachelor is making their annual switch to spring hours, which means lifts will now be open from 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM daily through the end of the season on May 26th. Now you can say you got a full day on the slopes and still be back in town for an early happy hour.

🔥 Fire damages WebCyclery building: On Wednesday, a fire broke out in the attic at WebCyclery, causing damage to the building as well as potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of bikes. Luckily, the employees were able to act quickly, suppressing the fire with extinguishers and calling 911. There is no word yet on how long the business may be closed.

🍺 Boss Rambler Beer Club closing: Boss Rambler Beer Club announced on Instagram that they would be shutting their doors for good at the end of this summer in order to focus on their Stokes Light beer brand. I think I can speak for many that we’ll mourn the loss of the Aprés ski parties, summer slushies, morning coffee and breakfast burritos, and everything else they added to the Bend scene.
