The Sober Curious Path: Discover the Magic of Alcohol-Free Living
October is here, and that means that, in addition to it being spooky season, it is also #soberoctober. In recent newsletters, we have highlighted the openings of two new mocktail bars catering to the growing number of Central Oregonians who are choosing to live an alcohol-free life.
If you’ve been curious about cutting alcohol from your life, Cricket Fixes is hosting an open, shame-free, and supportive workshop designed to help you understand the reasons behind why we drink and provide support on how to navigate an alcohol-free life.
The workshop takes place on Thursday, October 24th, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, and Cricket has generously offered a 39% off discount code for the first ten people who sign up.
Sign up here to take the first steps in your alcohol-free journey, and use the code BUZZ to get that 39% off discount.

BEND OUTDOOR REPORT
⛷️ These trails don’t maintain themselves
Don’t look now, but there is snow in the forecast for Dutchman Flats later this week. That means it's time to pull the skis out of storage and start thinking about those days on the slopes or, for fans of skinny skis, the trails.
We are blessed in Central Oregon to have an incredible network of cross-country ski trails right in our backyard, but maintaining them is a community effort. Every fall, volunteers put in hundreds of hours clearing brush, stacking firewood, and getting the trails ready for that first coating of snow.
If you’d like to get involved and help out with these volunteer efforts, there are numerous dates coming up to work on the trails alongside the fine folks at the Meissner Nordic Ski Club.
10/19 @ 9 AM - Trail Maintenance
10/24 @ 9 AM - Trail Maintenance
10/26 @ 9 AM - Trail Maintenance
11/2 @ 9 AM - Firewood Splitting & Stacking
