If your Instagram reel algorithm is full of real estate tips (mine is mostly raccoon videos, but the occasional real estate reel sneaks through), then you've probably seen the one where they talk about how a $20k home price reduction can reduce your monthly payment by $150 but a $20k seller credit can reduce your first-year monthly payments by $900.
While you can't believe everything you see on the internet (credit: Nikola Tesla), it turns out this isn't just an empty promise, and a knowledgeable mortgage lender like Alan can make this magic happen. Granted, these numbers are all hypothetical and your mileage may vary, but the theory behind it is very real.
If you’re interested in finding out more about how this strategy could work for you, feel free to give Alan a call at (541) 678-6356.
P.S. - I heard a rumor about a Christmas elf hiding a special treat in the latest RedBee. Keep an eye out for the LoanDepot offer, as it might save you a little extra money when you work with Alan.

🛣️ Franklin Avenue redesign feedback
The city of Bend has unveiled its proposed redesign of Franklin Ave and is looking for feedback from the public. The online open house and feedback form are open through January 5th.
Join parents all over Bend as we wake up at 5:45 AM to wait in the virtual queue to try and grab one of those elusive swim lesson spots. Enrichment options went online yesterday, swimming today, and winter sports leagues tomorrow. Enjoy that extra cup of coffee today - you’ll need it ☕️
BUSINESS HAPPENINGS
🚚 Three more food trucks joining the Pine Shed: The soon-to-open food cart pod at the historic Pine Shed has another three dining options joining its ranks. Dinky Dauber, Sopa, and Kookie will all be serving up tasty food to go with the always delightful cocktails from Dogwood. Make sure to follow their IG account for up-to-date info on when they’ll be opening their doors to the public.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS GUIDE
We’re into the thick of December, which means that holiday lights are up at homes and businesses all across Central Oregon. If you haven’t been to downtown Bend lately, make sure to stop by, as the twinkle lights are back after a one-year hiatus.
That isn't the only spot in town to take in impressive light displays. Here are some of the most popular spots where you can see folks trying their best to put a dent in the city’s electrical load, Clark Griswold-style.
Holiday Lights Paddle Parade (happening this Friday!)
Awbrey Butte (drive around and explore all the displays)
