It’s time to say goodbye to the Little Woody Beer Festival. So dress up in your favorite gnome garb, enjoy some barrel-aged brews, take part in the beer run (more on that below), test your knowledge at a round of fairy tale trivia, and wish a fond farewell to this Bend tradition.

100+ uber-talented artists are descending on Bend this weekend for the three-day Art in the High Desert show at Riverbend Park. This is a great opportunity to browse art across a variety of mediums and chat directly with the folks who make these pieces come to life. The show kicks off on Friday evening at 5 PM and then runs from 10 AM - 6 PM on Saturday and 10 AM - 4 PM on Sunday.

🥧 Pie Maison grand opening: Bend’s newest sweet shop is officially opening its doors this weekend in downtown Bend. Pie Maison is celebrating their grand opening on Saturday from 1 - 9 PM with some sweet treats for the first 50 guests and a raffle to win free pie for a year! You can find them at 920 NW Bond, Suite 106 (the old Brownbag Popcorn location).

🎉 The Bite in Tumalo 10th anniversary celebration: It’s a decade of trips around the sun for The Bite in Tumalo. Swing by on Saturday to say congrats and enjoy a round of bingo, live music, donuts from Oh My Goodness Bakery, and more!

🥟 Dump City Dumplings’ last weekend: After 17 years in business, Dump City Dumplings is sending things off with a bang. They have events planned for the whole weekend, with a going-away party on Saturday evening. So swing by for one last pizza dumpling and wish them well as they move on to their next adventure. As for their space on Galveston, we’ll be sharing more in a few weeks about who will be moving in.

🏋 Mountain West CrossFit grand opening: Join Mountain West CrossFit at the NE Bend location for a free workout to celebrate their grand opening. The workout takes place on Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Bend Comedy Festival — One Week Away!

Bend Comedy Festival returns September 4-6 for its second year, bringing national headliners and 30 of the country's best up-and-coming comedians to downtown Bend. Catch Fahim Anwar, Geoffrey Asmus, ASSSSCAT, and Don't Tell Comedy All Stars at the Tower Theatre, Cristina Mariani at Volcanic Theatre Pub, plus 15 more shows across the weekend at venues throughout Bend. Whether you want the full weekend or just one night out, there's something for everyone. Shows sold out last year, so if you've been meaning to grab tickets, now's the time.
