Good morning, Bend! Welcome to the start of spring break! With the weather we have coming up next week, who needs a trip to Mexico?

Here are two facts about the Bend housing market you might not expect:
1️⃣ Buyer activity in the first three months of 2023, 2024, and 2025 looks nearly identical.
2️⃣ Available inventory is slightly lower than 2019 but still above early 2020 levels.
So, what does this mean? Opportunities exist for buyers—but that doesn’t mean the days of multiple offers are over. In fact, I’ve personally been involved in three multiple-offer situations just in the last few weeks.
So, is it a buyer’s market or a seller’s market?
Yes.
We’re in a market of movement—where the right pricing, preparation, and strategy can make all the difference, whether you’re buying or selling.
📲 Want to make sense of the market for your goals? Let’s talk.
And as always, if you’re not looking to buy or sell right now, but love checking out homes for sale, here’s a great one in NE Bend

🎒 Deadline for school choice options
If you have a child going into Kindergarten this upcoming year and are looking at one of Bend’s magnet schools or are considering placing your student in a dual-immersion program, the deadline to submit their name for the lottery is TODAY.
🚴 Cascade Cycling Classic returning to downtown Bend
For the 2nd year in a row, the Cascade Cycling Classic is returning to downtown Bend, and the event is looking for volunteers who can lend a hand in directing riders, managing traffic, and warning of any hazards. Even if you don’t volunteer, this is a super fun event to watch, with riders flying through the winding downtown course.
🎨 Help support local art for kids
Bend has no shortage of amazing organizations dedicated to helping kids and families, and right now, one in particular needs a little extra help. Hearts Unknown Education (HUE) provides free classes to kids of all ages in Central Oregon, offering outlets for self-expression through painting, drawing, music, and more. They rely solely on grants and donations to fund their programs and are currently in between grant cycles and need some extra support to keep the doors open.
If you’d like to support them and the kids they serve through their fundraiser, you can do so here.
