2025 Shop Local Guide

Your guide to shopping local in Bend this holiday season

Good morning, Bend!

Now that we’re into the heart of the holiday shopping season, I wanted to put together a shop local guide to highlight so many of the incredible artists, makers, and local shops that make Central Oregon such an amazing place to live. This list is by no means exhaustive, as I had to leave so many people off to keep the email within a manageable length (a sincere apology to everyone I couldn’t include).

There are some great local deals and shopping events happening this weekend (a full roundup of all the holiday markets can be found near the bottom of the newsletter), so get out and support your neighbors, friends, and fellow Bendites this season.

GIFT SHOPS

Wild Petals Provisions

Wild Petals Provisions - Wild Petals is tucked away along Brooks Alley, but you should definitely make sure to seek them out. This shop specializes in charcuterie boards, cheeses, locally made foods like honey, teas, hot sauces, and more. Natural Kinships - If you’re looking for locally made goods this holiday season, then you have to stop by Natural Kinships’ downtown shop. Here, you’ll find locally made furniture, paintings, bowls, and so much more. 750 NW Lava Rd

Lone Crow Bungalow - Lone Crow Bungalow is well known for the impressive holiday display that adorns its front windows. This festive shop has a little bit of everything from Pendleton blankets to kitchen decor. 937 NW Wall St

Red Chair Gallery - Located in downtown Bend, Red Chair Gallery showcases an impressive collection of local art, including paintings, photography, pottery, and jewelry. It's the perfect spot to find a unique gift from one of Central Oregon’s talented artists. 103 NW Oregon Ave

Budd + Finn - A modern boutique located downtown, Budd + Finn offers a curated selection of apparel, accessories, and locally made gifts. Whether you're shopping for cozy sweaters, handcrafted jewelry, or unique home decor, this shop is full of thoughtful finds perfect for holiday giving. 350 SW Bond St

The Bend Store - Looking for those Bend-themed gifts like shirts, silipints, and hats? How about prints or mugs from local artists? The Bend Store carries it all. 815 NW Wall St

The Workhouse - The Workhouse is one of Bend’s most unique shops in that it is part gift shop and part artist studio. Here, you can browse their selection of locally made items and chat directly with the artists who make them. 50 SE Scott St

Pomegranate Home - Tucked away next to the Bend River Mall, Pomegranate Home is the perfect place to get lost for an hour to see what treasures you might discover. 120 NE Bend River Mall Ave

Mud Lake Studio - Located right next to The Workhouse, Mud Lake Studios offers a space where you can browse handmade pottery wares and see the space where they were created. Mud Lake also offers pottery classes for folks who want to make their own unique cup that will be cherished for generations. 50 SE Scott St

Dudley’s Bookshop

Dudley’s Bookshop - A downtown staple, Dudley’s offers a well-curated selection of new and used books as well as some tasty coffee drinks for those cold December days when you need to warm up. 135 NW Minnesota Ave

Roundabout Books - This NWX bookshop has grown into a community gathering spot with book clubs, author meet-and-greets, and, of course, an impressive collection of books from both national and local authors. 900 NW Mt. Washington Dr

Big Story Bookstore - If you have a bibliophile in your life, then the curated book packages at Big Story Bookstore make for the perfect gift this holiday season. They also have a wonderful kids section with both new and used options. Watercolor Wednesday

Watercolor Wednesday - Watercolor Wednesday produces whimsical art that perfectly captures the spirit of living in Central Oregon. Kirsten’s art is available on calendars, tea towels, prints, and more. You can find her work all over town or order online.

Lindsay Gilmore - For a unique and locally-inspired gift, check out Lindsay Gilmore's art—a Bend-based artist known for her vibrant paintings that capture the natural beauty of Central Oregon.
