2024 Shop Local Guide

Your guide to shopping local in Bend this holiday season

Good morning, Bend! I want to start by saying a huge huge thank you to everyone (all 4,903 of you) who have subscribed to the Bend Buzz. This newsletter and the community around it have grown faster than I ever anticipated, and for that, I can only say you all rock!

Now that we’re into the heart of the holiday shopping season, I wanted to put together a shop local guide to highlight so many of the incredible artists, makers, and local shops that make Central Oregon such an amazing place to live. This list is by no means exhaustive, as I had to leave so many people off to keep the email within a manageable length (a sincere apology to everyone I couldn’t include).

There are some great local deals and shopping events happening this weekend (a full roundup of all the holiday markets can be found near the bottom of the newsletter), so get out and support your neighbors, friends, and fellow Bendites this season.

We’ll be back on Tuesday with our regularly scheduled newsletter.

— Derek Carlson

A CALL FOR FEEDBACK

Thanks to everyone who has made it to the end of the email! I wanted to get your feedback on a possible change to the Bend Buzz as we head into the new year.

Would you be interested in seeing the newsletter go to a 3-day-a-week (M/W/F) schedule?

Some of the changes would be to include more events from around Central Oregon (Sunriver, Sisters, Redmond, etc.), a summary of the top events for the week on Monday so you could better plan your week ahead, and more coverage of local happenings like civic events, sports, etc.

Let me know below!

Would you like to see the Bend Buzz go to a 3 days per week schedule (M/W/F) or stay as it is (T/F)?
